2025 High School Writers Institute

Leap of the Imagination

Join Us June 9-13 at the University of St. Thomas!

Is your child struggling to find their writing voice or express their faith through storytelling?

Many young writers face challenges in discovering their creative potential, especially when it comes to sharing their Catholic faith. It can be difficult for them to know how to start or how to grow. But at the High School Writers Institute, your child won’t have to navigate this journey alone. They'll receive the guidance, encouragement, and support they need to unlock their creativity and faith through writing.

Benefits of Joining the Writing Camp

The High School Writers Institute helps young writers grow in creativity and confidence through hands-on lessons in fiction, poetry, sacred stories, and creative nonfiction. Students learn to analyze texts, explore deeper meanings, and develop practical writing and revision skills. By the end of the week, they’ll discover the joy and freedom of expressing their ideas on the page.
